Alcohol in the Workplace Factsheet
According to Alcohol Change UK, drinkers are more likely to be employed than non-drinkers. This means that the effects of overconsumption of alcohol are often felt in the workplace. It also means that the workplace can be a key place to help people identify alcohol problems and overcome them.
To mark Alcohol Awareness Week, Alcohol Change UK has created a factsheet on “Alcohol in the Workplace”, which outlines the issue, the key at-risk groups and causes, plus ideas to reduce risks to organisations and their staff.
