“Seizing the Momentum” – Business in the Community’s Mental Health at Work 2018 Report

“Mental health has a much higher profile than it did a generation ago, but the job is far from done.”

The fourth annual Business in the Community Mental Health at Work report summarises findings of engagement with Britain’s workers.

While the report commends the fact that the dial is moving in the right direction with regards to increased dialogue on mental health in the workplace and support for those who need it; it concludes that there is still a great deal that needs to be done.

The report provides an overview of the challenge as it stands, outlines key areas for action and includes case studies from a range of employers.

According to the findings, 67% of line managers have not received training in mental health. We have a free online training module for line managers, which Business Healthy member organisations and their staff can access. Find it here.
